National 30-Sec. Spot
Italian restaurant chain Carrabba's hired my frequent collaborators, Film Lab Creative, to create a 30-second national spot to highlight their "50 percent more chicken" promotion. Film Lab then brought me in to co-write the script.
When KNOCKI was close to launching their Kickstarter campaign, they asked Film Lab Creative to create a promotional video showcasing how this ingenious little device could simplify life in a smart home. Film Lab then turned to me again to write the script.
The KNOCKI campaign reached its $35,000 goal within 24 hours and would go on to raise $1,144,399 in total, in addition to garnering coverage in Business Insider, Wired, Tech Crunch and more.
This was another collaboration with Film Lab Creative. The creator of The Insider Bat had come up with FlipStool, a simple space-saving seat that could be used in a variety of contexts. Once more, Film Lab brought me in to write the script for the IndieGoGo campaign video.
The FlipStool campaign raised $29,776, about 116% of its goal.
One last collaboration with Film Lab Creative (for now) — the Sermonary Kickstarter campaign. A former pastor had created a website that made sermon writing easier by offering templates, resources and more. The just needed a video to show who it was for and what it could do. Guess who Film Lab called to script it...
The campaign eventually raised $43,244, far exceeding their original $10,000 goal.
